Taking care of who and what matters most.

Nurses need the opportunity, support, and tools to heal. Nurse burnout is at an all-time high, and it impacts us all. If we do not find a way to support nurses through a healing process, we will lose many of them. Supporting nurses while they heal, teaching them how to process trauma, isn’t only about the nurses—it’s about our communities, our families. We would love to have you as a part of this phenomenal and much needed event.

Resilience

It has been a hell of a pandemic. How do we keep going? How do we keep showing up? Loving the job is not enough. Compassion for our patients is not enough. How do we remain resilient in the face of death and disease?  Hear stories from resilient nurses, and accounts from patients who, thanks to resilient nurses, survived major medical and life crises.

Legal Nurse Consulting

Janice Dolnick, BSN, RN, LNC discusses the fundamentals of Legal Nurse Consulting. Clarity is just one paradigm shift Dolnick advises—for example, we should reconsider our use of the phrase “will continue to monitor” in charting. Dolnick will share how she rediscovered her passion for nursing away from the bedside but still uses all her nursing knowledge and skills.

Stress and Burnout

Amelia Nagoski, DMA, co-author of the NYT best-selling “Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle,” leads this session. Nagoski’s evidence-based approach recognizes stress and burnout as risks to physical and mental health, and promotes skills and practices for managing stress and preventing burnout.
